The purpose of Premote, has been, and always will be, to showcase the incredible local, independent businesses and delicious seasonal produce that the UK has to offer. Through this website, our social media, and the future plans for Premote, we hope to prove that the food and drink that is produced in this country is up there with the very best in the World.
In recent times, the UK has seen so many incredible independent businesses succeed, but, due to external factors, we have also seen too many incredible independent businesses have to close. Premote aims to play a small part in ensuring that our society continues to appreciate the quality of these businesses, so that even more of them can thrive in our ever more globalised World.
A little about me...
Hello, I’m Eddy and I founded Premote back in 2021.
In hindsight, I was incredibly naive to think I was in anyway ready to run a business straight after leaving university, but hey, here we are, still going years later.
I started Premote because I realised I had a genuine passion for cooking and an honest feeling that a thriving local economy would hugely benefit this country.
I’ve always been inspired by Italian culture, most notably in this context, the Italian attitude towards eating and drinking. In the UK, I feel that we too often accept the external opinions of our food, when we have every right to be as proud and respectful of our produce as the Italians are of theirs.
Hopefully I can prove this to you with Premote.
But most importantly...
This absolute Queen plays a huge part in the day-to-day ongoings at Premote. From Chief Taste Tester to Head of Security, Lily does it all.
She has been known to regularly sleep on the job, but we can accept that from the 4-time Premote Employee of the Year.
Keep up the good work Lily, number 5 is just around the corner.
